In one weekend, the Phoenix Suns had their NBA title odds on Arizona sports betting apps go from the penthouse to the outhouse.

The Suns, who shellacked the Dallas Mavericks in the opening two games of the Western Conference Semifinals by a combined margin of 27 points, gave up their high ground in the heart of Texas.

That’s where Phoenix got its hat handed to it, 103-94 and 111-101, evening the best-of-seven series, entering Tuesday’s Game 5.

Suns Fall Behind Golden State in NBA Title Odds

Monty Williams’ team has had its NBA title odds plummet since Friday, going from +200 on BetMGM Arizona to +275.

Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona and FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona all dropped Phoenix from +200 on Friday to anywhere from +270 (DraftKings) to +330 (FanDuel).

The Warriors, meanwhile, have climbed back into the No. 1 spot on all four sites, with odds ranging from +210 (FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona) to +225 (BetMGM Arizona).  

Golden State currently holds a 2-1 series lead over the No. 2-seeded Memphis Grizzlies on the other side of the Western Conference bracket.

Phoenix a Commanding Game 5 Favorite

Despite the team’s shoddy performance in Dallas over the weekend, the Suns still hold the cards entering Game 5.

Booker, Paul Among NBA Finals MVP Favorites

Another NBA betting race to keep an eye on as the playoffs unfold is the chase to win the 2022 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award.

FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona has Suns guards Devin Booker and Chris Paul among their top-five for the trophy.

So far this postseason, Booker leads all Suns in scoring (25 points per game). Paul leads the team in assists (9.0) and steals per game (1.5).
