While the final season of professional hockey in the Valley (for now, at least) didn’t go the way that fans of the Coyotes hoped across Arizona sports betting, there were a few slivers of silver linings if you dug deep enough. One such storyline was the play of winger Michael Carcone, who had 29 points on a $775,000 contract, meaning he earned a point for every $26,724 earned during the 2023-24 league year.
While Arizona finished the season with 77 points and a seventh place finish in the NHL’s Central Division, the play of Carcone was definitely a silver lining, with the third year winger averaging the 10th least dollars per point in the league.
