One Arizona betting apps user captured an experience they won’t soon forget, thanks to the newest sports betting operator in the state.
SaharaBets, which partnered with the Arizona Coyotes on their sports betting application in the state, handed out prizes that included an all-inclusive NHL All-Star game experience, a trip to the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and VIP seating at a Coyotes home game.
The promotion coincided with SaharaBets’ Jan. 12 launch and allowed Tempe native Klayton Chew to capture the grand prize trip to Las Vegas for the 2022 NHL All-Star Game, which took place on Saturday.
Users that downloaded the SaharaBets app and placed at least a $20 wager by Jan. 19 automatically earned a shot at one of three prize packages, ranging from NHL All-Star game tickets to tickets to the PGA’s Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The first prize for SaharaBets’ NHL promotion was two tickets to last weekend's NHL All-Star Game, plus a two-night stay at SAHARA Las Vegas, a $400 resort credit, a $600 airfare gift card, transportation to and from airports and hotels, and a $100 free bet.
The second prize in the promotion was six all-inclusive tickets and two parking passes to an Arizona Coyotes game during the 2021-22 regular season and a $50 free bet, while the third prize was two tickets to this week's Waste Management Phoenix Open and a $50 free bet.
NHL Experience of a Lifetime
Chew, in a company press release, said the SaharaBets giveaway was the trip of a lifetime, as it allowed him to experience the SAHARA Las Vegas for the first time, while also watching some of the NHL’s best players up close and personal.
“I was definitely most excited about getting to see some of the best hockey players in the world all on the same sheet of ice. I also had never stayed at the SAHARA before, so I was really looking forward to checking out what the newly-renovated hotel and casino had to offer,” Chew said. “The SaharaBets app has been great; super easy to navigate and the layout of the app is really user-friendly. The promos that can be taken advantage of have been an awesome bonus.”
SaharaBets is the Arizona sports betting arm of SAHARA Las Vegas and Grand Sierra Resort of Reno, which is owned by Coyotes Chairman and Governor Alex Meruelo.

SaharaBets Current Coyotes Promotion
SaharaBets’ latest promotion takes full advantage of the operator’s NHL betting expertise, allowing Arizonans to score a free bet when they wager on a Coyotes game day.
The “Yotes Win, You Win Parlay” promotion allows Arizona customers to score the free bet when they place a three-plus-leg parlay of $25 or more on any sport that takes place on a day the Coyotes win.
Customers will score the $20 free bet, regardless of the outcome of their parlay.
