With the NFL Draft on the horizon and the league smackdab in the middle of its offseason, many football fans are left longing for the return of gridiron action.
When it comes to the offseason (and preparations for Arizona NFL betting) only the true diehard fans of teams are keeping up with every move. So, what fanbases are the most obsessed with their team?
BetArizona.com, home to the best coverage of Arizona sports betting sites, utilized Statista’s 2022 “Attitudes Of NFL Teams” survey of NFL fans with 1,239 respondents to find who currently are the most obsessed fans in the NFL. To do so, we noted the NFL fanbases who responded the most positively to the following statements:
- Statement 1: I do not want to imagine my life without my NFL team.
- Statement 2: My NFL team is part of my day-to-day life.
NFL’s Most Obsessed Fans
What Cardinals Fans Said About The Team
Based on the results of the above survey, it seems Cardinals fans certainly don’t lack attachment to the franchise — and they’ve been showing that dedication the last two years by backing the team on Arizona betting apps.
Arizona wound up scoring the eighth-highest average positive responses to either statement in the survey at 24.5%.
Overall, Cardinals fans finished between supporters of the Green Bay Packers (25%) and those that root for the New York Giants (24%).
Twenty-three percent of Cardinals fans said they couldn’t imagine their life without the NFL team they support, while 26% said the team is a part of their daily life.
Overall, Bears fans finished first in the survey, followed by Bills fans.
The only other NFC West team to make the top-10 in the league was the 49ers, whose fans finished in a tie for 10th alongside supporters of the Chiefs and Broncos.
With the NFL taking on more of a year-round presence, it seems it’s second nature teams would occupy more of fans’ lives.
The league’s “second season” continues Thursday with the NFL Draft. Arizona has the third overall pick, and BetMGM Sportsbook Arizona lists Texas Tech linebacker Tyree Wilson and Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud as the favorites to be selected (at +250 odds).
