Now that the Grand Canyon State’s primary election voter registration has come and gone, it appears that Arizonans are ready to roll to the polls this fall, with the highest search interest score of any state in America on topics surrounding the subject.
After the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, many Americans are double checking their voter registration to ensure they’re able to vote during the upcoming presidential election. BetArizona.com used Google Trends to see what states were searching “Am I registered to vote" the most between June 25 – July 2, 2024. We ranked the states based on search interest score, compared to other topics.
Here’s where the 48th State ranked out of the 50 states (and Washington D.C.) that we surveyed for this story.

10 | Missouri | 37 |
Given the state’s July 1 deadline for registering to vote in one of the two primary elections, it’s likely of little surprise that Arizona ranked No. 1 nationally in terms of voter registration subjects.
Overall, Arizona had a perfect search interest score of 100 during the period surveyed (June 25-July 2), beating out Georgia (67 search interest score), Texas (53 search interest score) and Ohio (44 search interest score) nationally.
Rounding out the list of states with the most interest in voter registration subjects was North Carolina (43 search interest score), Kansas (42 search interest score), Arkansas (41 search interest score), New York (39 search interest score), Michigan (38 search interest score) and Missouri (37 search interest score).
Nationally, though, it seems like no other locale can match the Election Day excitement that is coursing its way through the Grand Canyon State currently, with Arizonans having outsized interest in voter registration compared to their national brethren.
