There’s a new lineman on the market, as D.J. Humphries is on his way out of the Valley after spending 98 games across eight NFL seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
Humphries at times was a one man tour de force in the trenches for the club, with an approximate value of 50 across those 98 contests after being drafted by Arizona with the 24th pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.
But the Cardinals released him to save money in mid-March, and now he's gearing up to sign with his next NFL team.
With that in mind, BetArizona.com broke down some hypothetical odds on where Humphries will go next, with a handful of NFC squads joined by the two-time defending Super Bowl champs in the pursuit of the Pro Bowl lineman.
Team | Odds | Percent Chance |
Washington Commanders | +475 | 17.4% |
Kansas City Chiefs | +600 | 14.3% |
Green Bay Packers | +600 | 14.3% |
Dallas Cowboys | +900 | 10.0% |
New Orleans Saints | +900 | 10.0% |
The Field | +200 | 33.3% |

Right now, we foresee NFC teams like the Washington Commanders as the frontrunners for a player of Humphries’ talents, with the NFC East stalwart slotting in at +475 to land the 30-year-old out of Florida alum.
Washington beat out the Chiefs and Green Bay Packers (+600 apiece), while the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints wrapped up our odds board for Humphries’ services in 2024 and beyond.
One way or another, some NFL franchise is going to land a player that can block with the best of them, as the Cardinals look to turn the page on the offensive line and find someone new to keep Kyler Murray off his backside this fall.
Keep tabs on the Cardinals Super Bowl Odds all season long.
