That trend applied statewide as well, with Arizonans at large picking stuffing as their No. 1 Thanksgiving side dish, with a search interest score of 15, beating out holiday stalwarts like macaroni & cheese and green bean casserole, which finished second overall with scores of eight apiece.
Throw in mashed potatoes (six search interest score) and sweet potato casserole (three search interest score) and you have Arizona’s top five Thanksgiving side dishes, with mac & cheese ranking as the second favorite side in the state’s three largest cities, while green bean casserole placed third overall in Phoenix, Tucson and Yuma this year.
