When it comes to the holiday season, Americans of all ages have a song that sets the mood for the most festive season of the calendar year, whether it be a timeless classic like “Jingle Bell Rock” or a slightly more modern song like “Feliz Navidad.”
In the Grand Canyon State, the top Christmas song when it came to search interest scores was a two-way tie between Bobby Helms’ 1957 classic, “Jingle Bell Rock” and the 19th century carol, “Silent Night,” with both songs scoring a search interest score of 12 points apiece.
At BetArizona.com, we were curious about locals' favorite Christmas songs. Using Google Trends, we found the top five most popular Christmas songs based on search interest scores on Dec 18.

Dead Heat For First In Arizona
While “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Silent Night” split top honors in Arizona this holiday season, other top tier songs in the 48th State included Brenda Lee’s 1958 midcentury classic, “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree,” which was third overall with a search interest score of 11 points.
The last two Christmas songs, search interest score wise, were José Feliciano’s 1970 classic, “Feliz Navidad,” which finished with a search interest score of 10 points to place fourth overall in Arizona, while “Santa Baby” by Eartha Kitt was fifth overall with a search interest score of eight points.
None of those tunes held a candle to the two-headed Christmas classic combo that was “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Silent Night” in Arizona this holiday season, though, with both songs scoring a victory as the top Christmas songs of 2024 in Arizona.
