Arizona wideout Tetairoa McMillan - who was a star across Arizona sports betting the last couple years for the Wildcats - is headed to the NFL later this month.
With that in mind, BetArizona.com developed odds projecting what NFL team will draft McMillan in April.
When it comes to McMillan’s odds for the NFL Arizona sports betting apps have several options for who could call his name.
The top team to land McMillan out of the draft is the Dallas Cowboys, who hold the 12th pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, at +150, as the NFC East stalwarts need a top-tier pass catcher to complement CeeDee Lamb.
Throw in three more NFC teams, in the Seattle Seahawks (+200), Carolina Panthers (+850) and Green Bay Packers (+1300) and you have our most up-to-date odds board for McMillan covered. Of those three, Seattle has the most pressing need the wide receiver position after trading star D.K. Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers after the veteran of 97 NFL games racked up 5,324 yards and 48 touchdown catches with the NFC West squad between 2019 and 2024.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, McMillan’s most likely landing spot in the first round is the Lone Star State, with Dallas taking the former Wildcats star with the 12th selection in the first round, giving quarterback Dak Prescott another weapon in the team’s passing attack.
Yates’ colleague Mel Kiper has the former Wildcats gridiron supernova as the 20th ranked prospect in the 2025 draft class, making him the fourth highest ranked wideout in the college ranks behind defending Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, who Kiper has No. 1 overall, in addition to Matthew Golden of Texas (15th overall) and Ohio State’s Emeka Egbuka (18th overall).
For now, what we know is that McMillan will be the second Wildcat selected in the first round in as many years, joining his former offensive teammate Jordan Morgan, who went 25th overall to the Green Bay Packers in the 2024 NFL Draft once the 2025 event kicks off from Lambeau Field on April 24.
Team | Odds | Percent Change |
Dallas Cowboys | +150 | 40.0% |
Seattle Seahawks | +200 | 33.3% |
Carolina Panthers | +850 | 10.5% |
Green Bay Packers | +1300 | 7.1% |
The Field | +1000 | 9.1% |
When it came to McMillan’s Heisman Trophy odds in his last season of college football, the junior out of Southern California entering the seasn was ranked just behind his quarterback Noah Fifita nationally, at +9000. That squared out to a 1.1% chance of the Wildcats’ superstar receiver winning the sport’s top individual honor, which illustrated just how hard it is for a non-quarterback to take home the Heisman each fall.
McMillan also was a runnerup for the Fred Biletnikoff Award, which is given to the nation’s top wide receiver each year. He lost to Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, who is also in the Draft come April.
